Albuquerque, N.M.—The University of New Mexico women’s tennis team is sending two of its’ players to the ITA All American Regionals Tournament Friday in Pacific Palisades, California.
Emily Olivier, Jr., and Ludivine Burguiere, Jr., is the pair heading to California. Olivier is qualifying for singles play and the two are pre-qualifying for doubles.
Olivier finished the Aggie Invitational with multiple match wins and won all her doubles matches at the CU Invite in Boulder last weekend. Her teammate Burguiere won her flight at the Aggie Invitational to open her fall season.
“I am thrilled for Emily and Ludivine to have the opportunity to participate in the doubles pre-qualifying event of the All-Americans,” said head coach Kelcy McKenna. “This event is always a favorite among college tennis players for both the tournament atmosphere and tremendous competition.”
The lady Lobos will be in California through the week.
