ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – No car? No parking pass? No problem, thanks to a new partnership between The University of New Mexico Athletics and Uber.
UNM and Uber have announced a partnership to provide Lobo fans with transportation to and from University Stadium on game day for all home football games, starting with this weekend’s Homecoming game with the University of Hawai’i.
The official Uber pick up and drop off zone will be available in Lot A of Isotopes Park which is located on the First Base Side, off of Avenida César Chávez. Uber ambassadors will be on site to help fans with pick up and drop off questions. Additionally, the first ride up to $20 is free for first time users when they enter the promo code GOLOBOS.
UNM Athletics and Uber encourage fans to always use safe transportation alternatives and encourage fans to use the promo code GOLOBOS outside of game day transportation as well.
“We are excited to partner with Uber. This provides another great way for our fans to get safely to Lobo Games and back home afterwards,” said Paul Krebs, Vice President for Athletics.
Lobo fans can download the Uber smart phone app by visiting the app store on their mobile devices. Uber ambassadors will also provide a presence throughout University Stadium to assist fans on game day. For more information, follow UNM Athletics on Facebook and Twitter.
