Boulder, CO—The women’s tennis team at the University of New Mexico finished day three of the CU invite in Boulder, Colorado Saturday. Rachana Bhat was the silver draw winner, beating Vitaliya Alkovik of Colorado University 6-2, 6-4.
Also putting up wins for the Lobos were Ruth Copas, who defeated her own teammate Andrea LeBlanc in the Ralphie Flight final match by a score of 6-4, 7-6 (5). Dominique Dulski made it to the Gold Flight final, but fell short to Colorado University’s Annabelle Andrinopolous 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 (4).
Sharon Coone also won her match against Emily Kolbow of Colorado State University 6-2, 6-4.
The Lobos head into their last day of the tournament today in doubles matches.
