ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – If there is basketball to be played inside WisePies Arena aka The Pit in October, it means it’s time for the annual Lobo Howl. The 2015 edition of the kickoff of Lobo Men’s and Women’s Basketball is set for Friday, Oct. 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (MST) inside WisePies Arena aka The Pit. The event is free to attend with free parking as well.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. for fans to get in early to get their seats and partake in pregame festivities. Coach Yvonne Sanchez and Lobo Women’s Hoops will take to Bob King Court from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. before Coach Craig Neal and Lobo Men’s Basketball hit the hardwood from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Lobo teams will have drill work, three-point competitions, slam dunk contest and always a surprise or two!
The Howl is also your first chance to see the familiar faces of the teams while getting introduced to new ones.
