ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Mountain West Conference has announced its national television broadcast schedule for the 2015-16 men’s basketball season, and the University of New Mexico Lobos had 25 of its games picked through the package. The CBS Sports Network and ROOT Sports combined for 19 of UNM’s 25 selections through the conference.
New Mexico will have additional nationally-televised games on its schedule through its participation in the 2015 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic, which is broadcasted on the ESPN family of networks. Road games at Purdue, USC and New Mexico State have yet to have their broadcast schedules announced.
As part of the MW’s television package, the Lobos had five of their Wednesday evening MW games moved to Tuesday since the original conference schedule was announced last month. This season’s Tuesday night conference games are:
- Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 – New Mexico at UNLV – at 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. (MST)
- Tuesday, Feb 2, 2016 – UNLV at New Mexico – at 6 p.m. (MST)
- Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 – New Mexico at Utah State – at 8 p.m. (MST)
- Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016 – New Mexico at Colorado State – at 8 p.m. (MST)
- Tuesday, March 1, 2016 – San Diego State at New Mexico – 7:30 p.m. (MST)
