ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The student-athletes have reported in, the training sessions have begun and now the 2015 Lobo Women’s Soccer season is at hand! The Lobos are ready to take the field under first-year head coach Heather Dyche, and it’s time to start getting prepared for the fall!
Season Tickets (And Much More) For Just $50!
The Lobo Pride Pass will get you into all women’s soccer home matches for just $50. It’s also good for a whole lot more. The pass will also give you access to all home games for men’s soccer, volleyball, baseball, softball and track & field! It’s a pass for over 80 home Lobo sporting events for just $50. You can get one at the ticket office in the northeast corner of WisePies Arena aka The Pit or online here.
Preseason Polls
The NSCAA released their preseason polls, and the Lobos first two regular season opponents were included. New Mexico will host No. 1 Florida State in its season opener at the UNM Soccer Complex on Friday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m. (MST) in the first day of the Lobo Invitational. UNM will welcome No. 15 Texas Tech two days later at 1 p.m. (MST) on Sunday, August 23. Head coach Heather Dyche is an alumnus of the Florida State Women’s Soccer program, having played there 1998 to 2001.
Did You Know?
Coach Dyche spent part of her summer as a scout for the United States Women’s National Team during their World Cup championship run in Canada.
