ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The No. 45 University of New Mexico men’s tennis team returns home to host Georgia State in a doubleheader on Saturday at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium. The Lobos will square off against the Panthers at 11 a.m. MT and again at 5 p.m. MT.

No. 45 New Mexico

Last weekend the Lobos competed in the Mountain-Pacific Tournament where they recorded a 2-1 record and earned a second place finish. UNM is now sitting at an overall record of 8-7 and will look to tally two more victories this weekend in their back-to-back matches against the Panthers. The Lobos remain at No. 45 in the most recent ITA team rankings.

Georgia State

GSU will be playing for revenge as they fell to the Lobos last season 4-1 in the only past match up between the two teams. The Panthers, 5-6 on the season, tallied victories in their last two matches (against Winthrop and USC Upstate) and will be looking to extend their streak on Saturday.
