ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — There is a lot of momentum with the University of New Mexico football team plans to keep that momentum right through the recruiting process. Now, in conjunction with LoboTV, that recruiting process will be right on your computer screen.
On Wednesday, February 4, UNM will launch a unique two-hour live television show “2015 Lobo Football: NLI Live” from 10 a.m. to noon. The live show will feature the UNM coaching staff talking about their 2015 recruits with Assistant A.D. for Communications and host Frank Mercogliano. Recruit highlight videos will be showcased along with stories from the road and a breakdown of each position group.
Included in the two hour show will be a look back at the 2014 season with highlight packages from wins over New Mexico State, UNLV, UTSA and Wyoming, as well as other Lobo TV videos. The show will be run in conjunction with UNM’s Signing Day Central page, which will once again feature the full roster of 2015 recruits and video highlights. UNM’s football twitter page @NewMexicoFB will also be tweeting out the individual names and highlight videos as the NLIs roll in throughout the morning.
The show will be available on replay from the Mountain West Network and LoboTV as well for fans that miss the live showing.
That 2015 season should be a fun one with seven home games on the schedule and just five away from home. Included in that home schedule are non-conference games with Mississippi Valley State, Tulsa and New Mexico State and conference match-ups with Colorado State, Air Force, Utah State and Hawai’i. The season will start with the home opener on September 5 at Branch Field at University Stadium when the Lobos take on Mississippi Valley State.
