ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico’s divers complete the final day of the 7th annual Wildcat Diving Invitational with the platform event.
A single diver represented the Lobos in the final event at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center today.
In the women’s platform event, which included a total of 30 divers, freshman Aundrea Scott finished with a total of 151.50 points for 22nd place.
Arizona’s second year diver, Sally Hackett, took first place after competing off the platform for the highest score of 235.60 points. Jordan Marthens, from Boise State, followed for second place with 226.60. Another Wildcat, Isabel Diamond, filled the podium for third place after collecting 217.35 points.
UNM’s swimming and diving team pushed trough a busy week of traveling and heavy competition at both the Mizzou Invite and the Wildcat Diving Invitational. The Lobos have approximately three weeks off from official meets until they jump back into the water for another three day long invite, UNLV Invitational, beginning on Saturday, Dec. 13.
