It’s time, Lobo women’s basketball fans: Single-game tickets for the 2014-15 University of New Mexico season go on sale this weekend.

The season includes an exciting 15-game home regular-season schedule (and one exhibition game against Eastern New Mexico). Among the highlights of the games this season at The Pit are:

  • Nov. 24 – “Pack The Pit” night at 7 against the national powerhouse Stanford Cardinal. All seats are $2.
  • Dec. 14 – Alumni Day against UTEP at 2 p.m., in which former Lobo women’s basketball members are encouraged to attend.
  • Jan. 10 – “Pack The Pit afternoon at 2 against the Mountain West rival Utah State Aggies. All seats are $2.
  • Feb. 14 – “Lobos Love Pink” game, partnered with UNM Hospitals  at 2 p.m. against the MW foe Nevada Wolf Pack.
  • Feb. 25 – UNM’s Greek Life, a campus partner of the UNM women’s basketball team, has targeted the game against Boise State for support of the Lobos.

Other promotional events include Toys for Tots games at dates still to be determined, team autograph sessions after all weekend games, halftime entertainment with Albuquerque Air and the Bandelier jump-rope teams.

You can select which games to attend, with prices starting at just $8 for adults) or, for the best value, you still can purchase season tickets (at just more than $3 per adult ticket). The exhibition opener is Nov. 9 against Eastern New Mexico, while the season home opener takes place with Stanford comes to town on Nov. 24.

Individual game tickets for both men’s and women’s basketball will go on sale exclusively online at unmtickets.com, beginning Saturday, giving providing a 48-hour window before they go on at the ticket office inside the northeast corner of The Pit on Monday. The ticket office at The Pit is open from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Single-game tickets also will be available Monday at all Albertsons ticket outlets.
