- 25 school records were set during their tenure from 2000-07
- 18 UNM athletes advanced to the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships, while 27 event titles were won in Mountain West competition
- Men’s cross country placed ninth at the 2004 NCAA Championships
- Both are UNM graduates, Mark in 1974, Matt in `75
