-Member of UNM’s 1927 undefeated football team
-All-Far Southwest team in 1927
-Named to UNM’s All-Time Team by The University Alumnus in 1930 and by the UNM Alumni Association in 1946
-Awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart while serving for the U.S. Army in World War II
