UNM Football Season-Ticket Information
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — One key to the continued success and growth of any football program is community support in purchasing season tickets. The University of New Mexico is reminding Lobo fans of the savings available to prospective season-ticket holders in helping Coach Bob Davie build the foundation of his program.
The Lobos are hoping to surpass last year’s season-ticket sales of 11,247 and are currently on pace to do so. The Lobos sold 8,917 tickets as of August 14 of 2012 and are currently at 10,020 this year. Season tickets can be purchased for as few as $78 for all six home games at Branch Field at University Stadium.
“Football season tickets sales are up compared to last year at this time and it is a credit to Coach Davie, to the young men in our football program and to our fans for supporting us” said Brad Hutchins, UNM Associate Athletic Director. “We need to keep moving that needle as there is still a lot of work out there to surpass last year’s overall season-ticket number. Our season tickets are very affordable, and we have many options available for purchase. If you purchase football season tickets, you will see the savings compared to waiting and purchasing single-game tickets.”
Lobo fans can save between $18 and $65 depending on the level of the season ticket purchased. Another great discount for those wanting another affordable option is the Papa John’s/Wells Fargo Football Plan: four season tickets (2A/2Y) for only $120. Click here for the Papa John’s Wells Fargo Football Family Plan offer details. The season ticket offers Lobo fans the best bargain. However, UNM also is offering discounted tickets to Lobo fans who purchase single-game tickets before game day.
Single-game tickets go on sale Saturday, exclusively online at www.unmtickets.com. Customers wishing to purchase in-person can do so Monday at The Lobo Ticket Office in The Pit, The UNM Bookstore and at all Albertson’s Ticket Outlets. Fans who purchase single-game tickets in advance can save $30 ($5 per game) on UNM’s exciting six-game schedule. UNM offers discounts on advance purchasing to improve the game-day experience. It reduces traffic at the NE and NW ticket locations; it allows for better preparation for concessions and better crowd control management. Advance tickets must be purchased before 12:01 a.m. on the day of each home game.
UNM continues to improve the experience in University Stadium. In 2012, Lobo athletics added The Howl Zone, The Lobo Prowl and The New Mexico Man, and music was upgraded in the stadium. The game-day experience will be pushed to another level in 2013 with the addition of a state-of-the-art Daktronics LED display board – the biggest board in the Mountain West.
Below is a price break down for fans purchasing season tickets compared to those who purchase single tickets.
