Lobo Football Season-Ticket Renewal Information
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — In 2012, the University of New Mexico football team played 13 straight weeks with no open dates. In 2013, the Lobos’ 12-game schedule includes a pair of game-free Saturdays.
The Mountain West on Thursday released the 2013 schedule, and the biggest challenge that appears to be awaiting the Lobos is their finish to the season that includes back-to-back road games at two of the three MW ’12 tri-champions.
“While we now know what lies ahead of us, our focus continues to be on ourselves and what we can control,” second-year coach Bob Davie said.
UNM opens conference play on Sept. 28 against UNLV on Branch Field at University Stadium. The Lobos will have two weeks to prepare for the Rebels after enjoying a Saturday off Sept. 21.
The Lobos will play one Friday game when they host Air Force on Nov. 8. That game comes on the heels of a Nov. 2 road game at 2012 conference tri-champion San Diego State, making the Oct. 26 bye week a critical time for the Lobos to stay fresh.
UNM’s home finale will take place Nov. 16 at Colorado State. The Lobos then will finish the season with games at tri-champions Fresno State on Nov. 23 and Boise State on Nov. 30.
Lobo football season tickets are on sale now, starting at just $78 for adults, $48 for youths (2 to 18 years old). Family plans (two adults and two youths) are available, starting at $204. Premium seating is available in the Zia Levels and Outdoor End Zone Club.
To purchase football season tickets, call 925-LOBO or visit the Lobo Ticket Office at the Pit Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. For additional pricing information, click here.
