Future Lobo Bryce Alford to Compete In 2013 U.S. Marines High School Three-Point Championship

Chicago, Ill. – The Lobo season might have ended, but Lobo fans still have a rooting interest on Final Four Weekend. Incoming freshman Bryce Alford, who was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for New Mexico, will battle for a national title at the 2013 U.S. Marines High School Three-Point Championship. The third annual event will air at 2 p.m. ET on April 6 on CBS. The program is being taped at Long Forum on the campus of Greater Atlanta Christian School.

The CBS broadcast team includes Tim Brando, Bill Raftery and Lewis Johnson. The program will have numerous encore presentations on CBS Sports Network. Check local listings for dates and times.

Alford is one of eight high school seniors that will compete in the three-point championships. Another eight will compete in the Slam Dunk Championships. Alford will be competing against two other incoming freshmen that he will see on the court potentially next year, as Conner Frankamp and Brannen Greene are both incoming freshmen at Kansas.
