New Mexico improves to 28-5 with a 60-50 victory over San Diego State (22-10) in the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament
UNM’s next game is Saturday at 4 p.m. MT against the winner of (2) Colorado State and (3) UNLV for the MW Tournament championship…the Lobos swept the season series against CSU and split with UNLV
On Saturday, the Lobos will be seeking their 3rd MW Tournament championship (all since 2005) and 2nd straight…UNM lost to BYU in 2001 and beat Utah in 2005 (with Danny Granger) and beat San Diego State last year
