ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The UNM men’s tennis team has announced a schedule change regarding the Rio Grande Rivalry match against New Mexico State. The Lobos will face the Aggies on March 9, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. MT in the Linda Estes Tennis Complex.
With the schedule change, the Lobos will now have a two match weekend on March 8-9, 2013. The Lobos will face DePaul on March 8th at 12:00 p.m. MT and then New Mexico State on March 9th also at 12:00 p.m. MT.
The Lobos now have five home matches left in the season. UNM will take on Northwestern on February 24th, and DePaul and New Mexico State on March 8th-9th. Conference matches against UNLV and Fresno State will also take place at home on April 5th and 7th at 1:00 p.m. MT and 11:00 a.m. MT, respectively.
The Lobos are currently 4-5 overall and are currently undefeated at home with a record of 4-0.
At home, the Lobos have defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Western New Mexico, Colorado State-Pueblo and Northern Arizona. All of these matches they have won without giving up a single point to the opposing team.
The Lobos will travel to Tucson, Ariz. on February 16, 2013 to face Arizona at 12:00 p.m. MT. They will have a quick turnaround as they come back home to take on Northwestern on February 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. MT.
