The Lobos won by overcoming a 13-point deficit (18-31) late in the 1st half and by scoring the final 9 points of the game…Fresno State had a 48-45 lead after making a 3 with 3:47 left…UNM also had 5 offensive rebounds during that time
UNM rallied from a double-digit deficit to win for the 4th time this season…the Lobos trailed Davidson by 16, Southern Cal by 10 and by 11 at New Mexico State…UNM trailed 31-18 tonight and 31-20 at halftime
Over the final 10:02, UNM held the Bulldogs to 3 points on 1-11 shooting, and the Lobos forced 3 turnovers
New Mexico outscored Fresno State 34-17 in the 2nd half…that’s the fewest points allowed by UNM in any half this year
