Sophomore diver Michole Timm has been named Mountain West Diver of the Week for meets contested Jan. 11-14, as announced by the conference office today. This is the first honor for Timm this season and the second of her career.

A native of Sauk Rapids, Minn., Timm set a new school record in the 1-meter springboard dive on Jan. 12 on Senior Day when the Lobos took down Grand Canyon 131-122. Her score of 347.78 bested the old record of 337.20 set by former All-American Ashlee Erickson. Her 1 meter total is the highest score in the Mountain West this season. She also scored 343.80 in the 3 meter springboard for 2nd place. Her 3 meter score is also the second highest in the conference. Both scored qualified her for NCAA Zones in March.

Up next for the Lobos is a meet against conference rivals Wyoming on Jan. 25th followed by a trip to Greeley, Colo. for a contest against Northern Colorado.
