- New Mexico improves to 11-0 on the season with a 73-58 victory over New Mexico State (5-5)
- Through today’s Lobo game, 10 teams remain undefeated in NCAA Div. I: New Mexico, Arizona, Cincinnati, Duke, Eastern Kentucky, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Syracuse and Wyoming…Florida plays at Arizona tonight
- Attendance was a sold-out and season-high 15,411
- The Lobos have won 35 consecutive home games in the month of December…the last loss was Dec. 22, 2004, to 5th-ranked Wake Forest, 81-64
