- New Mexico loses to No. 8/9 Georgia by a score of 72-42 in the championship game ofthe Lobos’ Thanksgiving Tournament in The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M.
- Georgia’s Jasmine Jones was named Tournament MVP, while teammate Jasmine Hassellwas named to the All-Tournament team, along with Caroline Durbin (New Mexico), SaraHalasz (New Mexico), Laura McCoy (North Texas), CeCe Dixon (St. Bonaventure).
First Half: New Mexico 17, Georgia 39
- After trading baskets early, Georgia posted a 16-1 run in the first half that spanned 7minutes, 53 seconds (from the 17:15 mark to the 9:22 mark).
- New Mexico went 9:03 between made baskets in the first half. Sara Halasz converteda fastbreak layup at the 18:25 mark in the first half and the Lobos did not make a fieldgoal again until Halasz hit a mid-range jumper at the 9:22 mark … During the drought,New Mexico shot 0-of-8 from the floor and committed 11 turnovers, while KhadijahShumpert shot 1-of-2 from the free throw line.

- New Mexico closed the game on a 12-4 run … Georgia only made just two field goals inthe final five minutes of the contest.
- New Mexico scored 42 points in the game, the fewest since scoring 40 vs. TCU in the2011 MW Tournament on March 11, 2011.
