UNM Sodexo shows their support for national Breast Cancer Awareness month during October games. Breast Cancer Awareness Month has been an October tradition for more than 25 years. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international awareness campaign–often referred to as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the US–that has helped to make great strides in breast cancer awareness, treatments, and victims’ access to service, but there is still plenty left to do. One of the most important functions of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to help raise funds towards breast cancer research and making treatments available to people who are affected by disease. UNM Sodexo employees will be showing their support with the traditional pink ribbon on their uniform.
