2012 Lobo Junior Golf Camp Brochure
The University of New Mexico men’s and women’s golf programs will conduct two Lobo Junior camps next month at the UNM Championship Golf Course.
The first session is June 4-7, the second June 11-14. Both sessions are from 8 a.m. to noon daily and open to boys and girls ages 7 to 18. Registration is available at http://www.lobojuniorgolfcamp.com.

The camps will be hosted by UNM head coaches Glen Millican (men) and Jill Trujillo (women) and their assistants, Brian Kortan and Becky Dover.
As schedules permit, members of the Lobo golf teams and UNM golf alums currently playing professionally will assist with camp instruction.
Campers will be grouped by ages and skill levels. Each group will be guided by a skilled instructor and counseled throughout the camp.
Comprehensive instruction will focus on improving fundamentals in the areas of the swing, chipping, pitching, putting, course management skills and video analysis.
Stations will be set up for each aspect of the game with prizes available at each stop.
Educational talks will include the following topics:
Rules and history of the game
Etiquette and safety
Equipment
College golf/scholarships
Golf course management
Sports psychology
Video analysis
Trackman analysis
Campers should bring the following:
clubs with owner’s name on them (limited number of loaners will be available)
sunscreen
water bottle
tennis shoes or soft-spiked golf shoes (no soccer or football shoes allowed)
golf tees
insect repellant
hat or visor
golf gloves
golf towel
