UNM vs. (11) UNLV *** Albuquerque, N.M.
- New Mexico (22-4, 8-2 MW) wins its 7th straight and maintains 1st place in the Mountain West with a 65-45 victory over No. 11 UNLV (22-6, 6-4 MW)…the 20-point margin is the Lobos’ largest in their series against the Runnin’ Rebels
- UNM held UNLV to season lows for points and FG%…the Rebels shot 31.1% (14-45) from the floor, 23.5% (4-17) in the 2nd half
- The Lobos outscored UNLV 39-18 in the 2nd half and it was 29-9 over the final 12:14
- UNM senior Drew Gordon finished with a career-high 27 points and 20 rebounds…he is the first Lobo to reach 20-20 since Jimmy Allen had 21 points and 20 boards in a 112-103 loss at New Mexico State on Dec. 1, 1976
- The score was tied at 36-all when the Lobos went on a 16-1 burst…Gordon had 8 points during the run
