* New Mexico (15-4, 1-2 MW) drops its second straight game, falling 80-63 at (14/20) UNLV (18-3, 2-1 MW)
* The Lobos’ next game is Wednesday at home against Colorado State…tipoff is 8 p.m. Mountain on the CBS Sports Network
* The 17-point loss is the Lobos’ largest in a Mountain West Conference game since Feb. 2, 2008, when UNLV won 79-60 in Las Vegas
* UNM loses its first road game (4-1) of the season…including neutral sites, the Lobos are now 7-2 away from The Pit this year
* The Lobos allowed their most points (80) and highest opponent FG% (51.7%) of the season
