- New Mexico improves to 5-2 with a 65-41 victory over Idaho State…UNM has a 5-1 series lead over ISU
- Attendance was 13,142
- UNM trailed tonight for the first time in three games (last time was Santa Clara): 2-0, 5-2 and 17-16
- The Lobos trailed 17-16 then went on a 14-1 run for a 30-18 lead…freshman Hugh Greenwood scored all 7 of his points during the burst
- UNM outscored the Bengals 19-5 over the final 9:17 of the 1st half to grab a 35-22 lead at the break…junior Jamal Fenton scored the Lobos’ final 5 points of the 1st half on a 3-pointer, then a steal that resulted in a layup
- New Mexico limited Idaho State to 29.6% (16-54) shooting from the floor…it’s the 2nd time this season UNM has held an opponent under 30%…New Orleans shot 25.5% on Nov. 11
- No Lobo scored in double figures…10 players scored between 2 and 9 points…starter A.J. Hardeman and reserve Demetrius Walker led UNM with 9 points apiece
