2012 Lobo Football Season Ticket Information

Albuquerque, N.M. — Incoming University of New Mexico football coach Bob Davie will be away from the program this holiday weekend as he finishes his commitment with ABC and ESPN as a television analyst.

Davie, who has been busy at work this week meeting his new Lobo family, will be with the team through Wednesday. He’ll then get ready for Friday’s Iowa-Nebraska game in Lincoln, Neb., followed by the Florida State-Florida in Gainesville, Fla., on Saturday night.

The popular Davie will wrap up a successful 10-year run with ESPN and ABC as he rejoins the Lobos on Monday and begins work full-time at UNM.

Check out what Davie and broadcast partner Bob Wischusen have to say during Davie’s final two live telecasts as analyst. The Iowa-Nebraska game is scheduled for 10 a.m. (MST), on ABC on Friday, and the Florida State-Florida game airs Saturday at 5 p.m. (MST) on ESPN2.

Davie also is tentatively scheduled to be a guest during an evening segment on KKOB-AM (770) next week.

The Lobos have a bye week this week before concluding their 2011 season on Dec. 3 with a trip to No. 7/No. 8 Boise State (AP/USA Today ranking). Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m. from the blue turf at Bronco Stadium. The game will be broadcast on the Mtn.-HD and can be heard on KKOB-AM with the pregame beginning at 1 p.m.
