New Mexico women’s basketball plays their second of a two-game road stretch at North Texas tonight at 7 p.m. in The Super Pit in Denton, Texas.
The Lobos look to earn their first victory of the regular season after dropping their opening game 69-43 at Texas Tech on Nov. 11. Junior Caroline Durbin had a game-high 17 points in the contest, hitting 8-of-9 shots from the floor.
The Mean Green are coming off a 66-47 win over UT-Arlington on Nov. 11. The 19-point victory is the biggest road win to start the season in school history and the biggest win to start a season since 1997.
New Mexico is 2-2 all time against North Texas. The teams last met Dec. 8, 2008 in The Pit, with UNM claiming a 66-63 victory.
