*The Lobos improved to 60-6 all-time in exhibition games, including a perfect 6-0 in preseason exhibition games under Alford.
*The official attendance was 12,978, the third best attendance in the last 13 exhibition games dating back to 2002.
*UNM opened both halves on 11-4 runs, and the Lobos never trailed in the game, leading by as many as 38
*Tony Snell and Kendall Williams led all scorers with 16 each and they were two of five Lobos in double-figures (Gordon 12, Walker 12 and Fenton 10).
*New Mexico’s 14 steals bettered any total it had in a game last year. The best the Lobos did was 12 steals games coming against San Diego and Air Force. Tony’s Snell’s three steals would have been a career-high.
*Cameron Bairstow shot seven free throws in the game, hitting five. He was just 13-for-22 all of 2010-11.
*After going 3-for-12 from three in the first half, UNM went 5-for-6 in the second.
