Albuquerque, N.M. — New Mexico men’s basketball coach Steve Alford has announced that Craig Snow, former boys’ basketball coach and athletic director at Bosque in Albuquerque has been named the video administrator for the program. Snow replaces Chris Monette on the staff.

“We are very excited to have Craig join our program. I’ve known him since my time at Missouri State as he played in the Missouri Valley at Evansville,” said Alford. “Craig played for coach Jim Crews, who was my assistant coach when I played at Indiana.”

Alford added, “Craig did a terrific job at Bosque, where he was coach and A.D., and I feel very fortunate to have him join our program.”

Snow played for three years at Evansville University, scoring 1,336 points in 91 games. A deadly shooter, he hit 41.1% of his three-pointers (150-365) and was 77.1% from the line. For his career he average 14.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while shooting .471 overall from the field.

He finished his career ranked among the MVC top-30 all-time in points (1,336, 26th), field goals (482, 25th), and field goal attempts (1,024, 24th), and field goal percentage (.471, 9th).

Snow spent the past five years as director of athletics varsity boys’ basketball coach at Bosque in Albuquerque. He received his B.S. from the University of Evansville. After college, he played professional basketball in both Luxembourg and Austria. Craig and his wife Jessica have, a daughter, Adelynn.
