Jamal Fenton surpassed his career-high of 11 points (vs. Northern Arizona 12-16-09) in the first half when he scored 13, including three threes. He had never hit more than two in any game in his career. He finished with 14.

New Mexico is now 0-4 at Berkeley, and 2-5 overall against the Golden Bears.

The 25 point loss was the largest margin of defeat in the Alford era (previous was 19, 79-60 loss at UNLV on February 2, 2008. It was the largest margin of defeat since a 39-point loss to New Mexico State on December 5, 2006 under Ritchie McKay.

Harper Kamp and Jorge Gutierrez became the first tandem to break the 20-point mark against the Lobos in the same game this year.

Dairese Gary made his 100th consecutive start of his career.

After having no one foul out over the first two games, A.J. Hardeman did so in the second half as UNM commited a season-high 26 fouls.

The Lobos committed a season-high tying 18 turnovers.

The 89 points allowed were the most allowed in regulation in the Alford era, and the second-most in that same time frame (99-92 win in double overtime over Wyoming).
