“We had a couple of really tight races today,” said Head Coach Tracy Ljone. “Heidi and Stelicia had very close contests, it was a good meet for us.”

Monica Dudley and Maria Dudley placed second and third in the 500-yard freestyle, Monica had a final of 5:15.92 while Maria finished with 5:17.76.

“The girls swam well,” said Ljone. “Our times were about the same as the last two weeks, but I’m happy with that since we’ve had a bunch of back-to-back meets swimming at 7200 feet.”

“The past couple of meets have set us up well for the Cougar Classic Invite in Houston,” she said. “Our divers did amazing today, Ashlee dove beautifully on the 1-meter and Aubrey did fantastic as well, they should go into Tucson and have success as well.”

The Lobos return home to train for the Cougar Classic Invite in Houston, Texas where they will compete from Nov. 18-20, while Diving will travel to Tucson, Ariz. for the Arizona Diving Invite from Nov. 18-20 as well.
