Day 1 Recap – New Mexico in Second Place after Two Rounds of the Tucker
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico men’s golf team has drawn even with North Texas to share the lead three holes into the final round of the 2010 William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, held at UNM’s Championship Golf Course.
Tom Carlson and Travis Ross each are 1-under-par early in Round 3, dropping the Lobos’ score from 4 to 2-over. The Mean Green, which started the day with a four-stroke lead over New Mexico, is 2-over thus far.
