The University of New Mexico Alumni Lettermen’s Association has announced the 2010 inductees into the UNM Athletic Hall of Honor. The Class of 2010 includes Harold Bailey (track), Andy Frederick (football), Herb Hughes (football and baseball) and Janice Ruggiero (basketball).

The posthumous inductees are Malcolm Long (football and basketball), Robert Scott (basketball and football) and Harrison Smith (track). This is the 24th class since the inaugural inductions in 1986.

Distinguished Service: Wayne Harley (skiing)
2009-10 Coach of the Year: Ray Birmingham (baseball)
2009-10 Female Athlete of the Year: Jodi Ewart (golf)
2009-10 Male Athlete of the Year: Lee Emanuel (track and field)
The annual banquet and dinner will be held Thursday, Sept. 9, at the UNM Student Union Ballroom. Tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 10. Call the UNM Alumni Office at 277-2593 for more information.
