ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—In partnership with the University of New Mexico, FastPark & Relax, a national off-site airport parking company, has branded two of its shuttle buses to reflect the spirit of the Lobo Athletics Department. As a sponsor of the Lobos, FastPark & Relax uses the shuttles adorned in UNM Cherry and Silver and the Lobos logo to transport Lobo student-athletes, coaches, staff members and fans to and from the Albuquerque International Sunport.
“This is one more fun way to enhance the service that we provide for our customers – that’s speed and a consistent, relaxing experience,” explained John Reimann, the account manager for FastPark & Relax. “It’s a continuation of our more than 30 years of serving the area and our long-standing partnership with Lobo athletics and the university.”
The unique relationship accords many benefits for the University of New Mexico and its fans as well as FastPark & Relax, its employees and customers. UNM Athletics will save on transportation and parking costs for student-athletes and staff traveling to and from the Sunport, as well as receive tremendous exposure from the emblazoned shuttles, which travel more than 44,000 miles per year. UNM supporters who are Lobo Club members are eligible for the Relax for Rewards Program offered at 18 locations throughout the country.
“It is important for FastPark to be an integrated part of the communities we serve. Our corporate sponsorship with UNM Athletics is one more way we can show our support,” said Reimann.
