2010 Lobo Women’s Basketball Summer Camps Brochure
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Women’s Basketball Camps got underway this week. Individual Camp is going on this week at the Johnson Center South Gym under the supervision of camp directors Shane Flanagan and Jordan Adams. Over 75 young girls are honing their skills and learning lessons from former and current Lobo women’s basketball players until June 10.
Three more camps are still on the horizon for the summer, Elite Camp, Day Camp and Shooting Camp.
Elite Camp – June 21-23 at Rudy Davalos Center (next to The Pit)
Registration = $150 commuter; $250 overnight
Session Times
– June 21 – Registration 2-4 p.m.; Session I 4-7 p.m.
– June 22 – Session II 9 a.m.-12 p.m.; Session III 1-4 p.m.; Session IV 5-7 p.m.
– June 23 – Session V 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Girls ages 13-18; advanced skill level
Day Camp – June 28-30 at Rudy Davalos Center (next to The Pit)
Registration = $150
Session Times – 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Girls ages 6-12; basic skill level
Shooting Camp – Aug. 2-5 at Johnson Center (UNM Main Campus)
Early registration = $120
After August 1 = $150
Session Times – 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Girls ages 8-18; basic to advanced skill level
Each camp features personal instruction from members of the Lobo women’s basketball team and coaching staff, 2010 camp t-shirt and contests and prizes. Full-time certified athletics trainers will be on site for each camp.
