ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico women’s golf team hosted the Branch Law Firm Free Women’s Golf Clinic Saturday, March 6th, at the University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course.
Coach Jill Trujillo, assistant coach Becky Dover and members of the team provided instruction, teaching everything from the full swing to chipping, putting, golf etiquette and the general rules of play.
The clinic is a free event held annually by the Lobos women’s golf team. Over 91 women of all ages and skill levels attended.
“We had a great turnout this year and hope it just keeps getting bigger and bigger,” Trujillo said. “This is a great opportunity for women of all ages and abilities to get some real hands-on instruction. We love hosting the clinic and the girls love taking part in it as well.”
