Current NCAA West Regional/RMISA Championships Results (through 6 events)
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — The University of New Mexico ski team is in fifth place after six events of the 2010 NCAA West Regional/Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association. The No. 1-ranked Lobos have scored 506 points. No. 2-ranked Colorado is in first place going into the last races of the meet. The final events of the meet, the men’s and women’s slalom, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at approximately 10 p.m.
The Nordic squads continued to ski for points in today’s freestyle races. Senior Polina Ermoshina placed 5th in the women’s 15-kilometer race to lead the Lobos. Senior Tor-Hakon Hellebostad was the top finisher for the men in the 20-kilometer race in 21st.
Final meet results will be posted on GoLobos.com on Sunday morning.
