27 NBA Standouts Named to 2010-12 USA Men’s National Team
Colorado Springs, Colo.- Former Lobo men’s basketball All-American and current Indiana Pacers stand-out Danny Granger has been named to the 2010-12 USA Basketball Men’s National Team. Granger is one of 27 to make the team. The selection was announced today by USA Basketball Chairman Jerry Colangelo.
Granger will join the likes of Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard among others.
The former Lobo was All-Mountain West Conference in 2004 and 2005, MWC Player of the Year in 2005, 3rd team All-American by Basketball Times and 1st team all-district by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Granger averaged 18.8 ppg his senior year along with 8.9 rpg, 63 steals and 60 blocks.
