ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) -Darington Hobson had 22 points and 16 rebounds, and No. 19 New Mexico rallied from its biggest deficit of the season to beat Creighton 66-61 on Saturday night.

The Blue Jays jumped to a 31-15 lead and shot 71.4 percent from the field in the first half, taking a 40-28 lead into the break. But the Lobos (12-0) opened the second half with a 17-4 run, taking their first lead at 45-44 on Hobson’s putback with 11:47 left.

The teams traded the lead until Hobson’s layup broke a 57-57 tie. Dairese Gary helped seal the victory with two steals in the final minute.

P’Allen Stinnett led the Bluejays (4-6) with 14 points.

Roman Martinez added 11 points and 10 rebounds for New Mexico.
