After the 51-10 loss to No. 4 and undefeated TCU, New Mexico finishes the season 1-11 overall and 1-7 (8thplace) in the Mountain West ConferenceThe Horned Frogs have an 8-3 series lead and have won all 5 MWC games played by a combined score of 190-62The Lobos limited TCU to 202 yards rushing and 430 total yards…the Horned Frogs had averaged 349.8 rushing yards and 550.3 yards of total offense in its previous 4 gamesNew Mexico has dropped 12 straight games to opponents residing in the Lone Star State…the last win was 40-10 at TCU on Nov. 1, 1997…since that victory, UNM is 0-4 at Texas Tech, 0-3 at UTEP and TCU and 0-1 at Baylor and Texas A&MUNM scored a TD at the 5:43 mark of the 2nd quarter, ending a span of more than 10 quarters since its last TD against TCU…the last one before today had been in Albuquerque in 2006 at the 13:45 mark of the 4th period

Sophomore DE Johnathan Rainey
had 2 tackles, a sack, a PBU and recovered a fumble o finished the year by leading UNM with 9.5 sacks and 15.5 tackles for loss o it’s the most sacks in a season since Brian Johnson had 9.5 in 20009.5 TFL ranks tied for 9th on UNM’s single-season list
Redshirt freshman Ty Kirk
3 catches for 24 yards to finish the season with 35 receptions and a team-high 418 yards – most catches by a Lobo freshman since Carl Winston (42) in 1990 o top freshman receiver in the Mountain West Conference
Senior P Adam Miller
8 punts for a 41.8-yard averagethe MWC’s leading punter finishes the season with a 44.0-yard average on 64 punts – 44-yard average is the 4th-highest single-season average in school history
