ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.–The University of New Mexico women’s soccer team was featured on the Soccer America website for its history setting start. The Lobos are off to an 8-0-2 start to the season, which is the best start in school history. The undefeated streak is also a school record for matches without a loss.

On Sept. 1 sophomore Jennifer Williams earned a spot on Soccer America’s Team of the Week. Williams was picked after scoring New Mexico’s first hat trick in 12-years. Williams also tied a school record for the most points in a single match with 18.
