Former University of New Mexico fullback Matt Quillen signed a free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins today. One of the best blocking fullbacks in UNM history, Quillen helped clear the way for a 1,000-yard rusher in each of his four seasons (2005-08). The Albuquerque La Cueva product started 25 of his 46 career games and graduated in December of 2008 with a degree in Criminology.
Quillen, who was given No. 40 by the Dolphins, is the 12th Lobo currently on an NFL training camp roster. The rest of the list includes:
