ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico, Intercollegiate Athletic Department is currently accepting applications for multiple, on-call positions for athletic and special events.
This first position functions as ushers and ticket takers and will perform routine duties associated with customer service at athletic events such as: football, women’s and men’s basketball, women’s and men’s soccer and other events as assigned. This position may also involve working other special events such as concerts, exhibitions and other non-athletic events as assigned the may include ticket taking, ushers and/or attending seating areas and/or other assigned areas. The ideal candidate will be positive, upbeat and must provide excellent customer service to all fans/attendees and staff. These are on-call positions that require someone with a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends.
The second position will function as parking attendants and will perform routine duties associated with parking at athletic events such as: football, women’s and men’s basketball, and other events as assigned. This position may also involve working other special events such as concerts, exhibitions and other non-athletic events as assigned that may include parking or directing traffic within parking lots. The ideal candidate will be positive, upbeat and must provide excellent customer service to all fans/attendees and staff, they must be able to handle money and check parking passes, be able to direct fans/attendees to various parking lots.
