University of New Mexico head women’s golf coach Jill Trujillo announced that Becky Dover has been named assistant coach. Dover spent the past two seasons as the Director of Operations for the Lobo softball program.
Dover, a four-year softball letterwinner at UNM from 2004-07, received her bachelor’s degree in December of 2007. She earned a master’s degree in Sport Administration from UNM in the summer of 2009.
“We’re thrilled to have Becky join the women’s golf program,” said Trujillo. “First and foremost, she is a Lobo. She has a diverse background that will help us in recruiting. Becky knows what UNM and Albuquerque have to offer.”
Dover is a native of Los Osos, Calif.
