Season tickets for the highly anticipated 2009 University of New Mexico football home schedule will go on sale on Monday at 8:30 a.m. Under the direction of first-year head coach Mike Locksley, the new-look Lobos promise to be one of the most exciting teams in the Mountain West Conference this year. The six-game home schedule begins on Sept. 12 against Conference USA power Tulsa and also includes games against rival New Mexico State, BYU, Air Force, Colorado State, and UNLV.
New Mexico offers some of the most affordable season ticket packages in the nation with prices starting as low as $72 for adults and $36 for youth.
Beginning Monday, fans can purchase season tickets at the Lobo Ticket Office, over the phone (925-LOBO or 1-800-955-HOWL), and – new this year – online at www.unmtickets.com.
Season ticket buyers can also go down to University Stadium between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday and pick the exact seats they want during the Select-A-Seat event. Representatives from UNM will be on hand to process orders.
With The Pit under construction, the Lobo Ticket Office has moved to the UNM Student Support and Service Center which is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Avenida Cesar Chavez and University Blvd – north of The Pit and west of Isotopes Park (1115 University Blvd/South Campus).
Ticket office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
