WACO, Texas–University of New Mexico senior Jarrin Solomon ran a 46.27 to finish fifth at the Michael Johnson Classic hosted by Baylor. The Albuquerque La Cueva product posted the fifth fastest 400-meter time in UNM history and the fourth fastest time in Mountain West Conference history.
Solomon previously ran the fifth fastest time in UNM history in 2007 when he posted a 46.42.
On April 12, Solomon ran a 46.90 – the seventh fastest time in UNM history – to secure his place at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships.
