The University of New Mexico had a surprise guest at Friday afternoon’s practice when former Lobo and current Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Marcus Smith stopped by the UNM practice fields. Smith was far from a passive spectator as he caught balls from the Lobo quarterbacks during individual drills and offered bits of advice to the receivers on the sideline.
Smith, who is preparing for his second year in the NFL, will be one of the guets at next Friday’s UNM football alumni gathering and will also be among the fans at the Cherry-Silver Spring Game on April 18.
I got a chance to sit down with the Lobos’ record-setting pass catcher on Friday. CLICK HERE to listen to the entire conversation on the GoLobos.com ALL-ACCESS platform.
