ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.–The University of New Mexico head men’s soccer coach Jeremy Fishbein has announced the addition of one more player to an already impressive 2009 recruiting class. Signing a National Letter of Intent with the Lobos is Levi Rossi from Regis Jesuit High School in Denver, Colo. Rossi is a multi-faceted attacking player who brings athleticism and tenacity to next years Lobo squad.

“Levi is a young man who brings more than just great soccer ability to our program. He has a tremendous academic back round coming from Regis Jesuit High School in Denver and has received excellent coaching at the high school level and with his club team Real Colorado. The things which attracted us most to Levi, were not just the things he does on the field. He is a young man who has a wonderful commitment to give back to his community.”

“Levi has unlimited potential. He has been extremely successful at the highest level as a youth player. We feel that once he immerses himself in our programs environment, where he is training daily, he is going to blossom in to a key player for us.”
