- New Mexico won despite trailing by 5 points (62-57) with
13 seconds remaining in regulation - The Lobos are tied with BYU for 2nd place in the MWC at
10-4…Utah leads at 11-3 coming into The Pit on Tuesday
night - The Lobos finish February 6-1 and are 7-2 since Jan. 24
- New Mexico has won 5 straight against Colorado State
overall and 5 in a row over the Rams in Fort Collins…the
Lobos are 11-2 in their last 13 trips to Fort Collins - The Lobos shot 60% from the floor in overtime, including
2-4 from 3-point, and 5-6 from the line - UNM was 10-23 from 3-point, and has shot 42.4% from
beyond the arc in 11 road games this season - New Mexico is 2-0 in overtime games this season and 6-1
all-time in OT against Colorado State - Steve Alford has posted 43 wins in his first two seasons
as New Mexico head coach, tying for the most in school

head coach Steve Alford’s two seasons at New Mexico…UNM

from passing Ruben Douglas for 2nd place all-time at UNM - averaged 18.3 points in his past 4 games against
Colorado State, making 16-32 shots from 3-point
Junior Roman Martinez
- 4th career double-double with 13 points and a
career-high-tying 12 rebounds - played a career-high 42 minutes
- Lobos are 14-1 when he plays more than 30 minutes this

Senior Daniel Faris
- 8 points and 8 rebounds and he tied a career-best with 3
assists - made the game-tying reverse layin with 0.7 seconds left
in regulation - 3 blocks, tying Charles Smith for 6th place all-time at
UNM with 95 - made 16 consecutive FTs before a miss with 21 seconds
left in regulation
Senior Tony Danridge
- 12 points, passing Johnny Brown and Charlie Thomas for
18th place on UNM’s career scoring list with 1,166 points - averaged 18.8 points a game in his last 6 games
